THE RAF Falcons freefall parachute team will be dropping in on the Battle Proms next Saturday (August 15) at Ragley Hall.
The outfit, the military’s premier parachute display team, will perform an array of advanced freefall manoeuvres, falling speeds of up to 120mph, at the spectacular which will mark the 70th anniversary of V-J Day.
In addition to an evening of classical music, Spitfire and cavalry displays, cannon fire and a stunning firework finale, Battle Prommers will also be treated to The Falcon’s unique, non-contact canopy stack which has become synonymous with them over the last 50 years.
Gates for the event open at 4pm, with the entertainment starting from 5.50pm and finishing at 10pm.
Adult tickets cost £36 if booked in advance and £40 on the day of the concert (subject to availability). Tickets for children aged five to 15 cost £17.
