SIMON Skillings, a market development manager at Redditch-based Utilitywise, recently took part in the ‘Brave The Shave’ campaign for Macmillan.
A regular Movember enthusiast, Simon decided to turn his charity fundraising exploits on their head by shaving his head rather than growing his follicles.
To raise even more money for the charity, Utilitywise, based at Ravensbank Business Park held a dress down day and baked and sold delicious cakes.
The opportunity to shave Simon’s head wasn’t overlooked and colleague Adam Baker took the honours after donating a significant sum for the privilege.
Simon was delighted with the support he received and said: “I’d especially like to thank Ashley Guise our managing director for agreeing to match the total I’d raised bringing the total donation for Macmillan to £1,746.60.”
