GYM MEMBERS and staff ramped up the red and worked up a sweat to help a leading charity.
A total of 26 fitness classes and various fund-raising activities were held in a week at Arrow Valley Health Club to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Staff member Ashley Southall even wore a red mankini in the spinning classes to raise additional funds, bringing the total to nearly £250.
Fitness trainer Daniel Cuniapen said: “We got involved because regular physical activity and keeping fit can help prevent heart disease. Last year the BHF helped to fund a defibrillator for the club and we wanted to continue to support the vital work the charity does.
“We had a lot of fun and are really pleased to have raised over £245 for the BHF and have helped continue to fund the vital research needed to fight heart disease.”
