TONNES of turkey, piles of potatoes and gallons of gravy have earned a Redditch pub a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The Duck Inn in Oakenshaw has been officially recognised as having the world’s largest Christmas dinner, one of a series of huge meals created at the venue.
The mega feast includes a whole roasted turkey, 25 roast potatoes, 25 stuffing balls and 25 pigs in blankets as well as plenty of vegetables and gravy.
Licensee Louise Gargan said: “It has been an extremely long process but we are over the moon that this has now been certified.
“Not all Guinness World Records are listed in each edition of this famous annual book, however The Duck Inn has been published within the 2015 edition.”
