FIREFIGHTERS are appealing to residents to ‘park their cars right and save a life’.
The call comes after Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service revealed they were unable to get as close as they could to an incident on 39 separate occasions.
Their campaign warns that unthinking parking not only puts lives at risk in an emergency, but appliances have the right to remove vehicles if it means getting to the fire more quickly.
