STAFF from a town centre estate agents will be cranking up their fund-raising efforts in a bikeathon event.
Matthew Reynolds, Ben Ward and Andy Fortune-Hiseman from Andrew Grant will be putting their foot to the pedal in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre next Friday (March 13) in aid of Comic Relief.
The trio will be taking it in turns to pedal on two static bikes in Worcester Square which have been donated to them for the day by Choices Gym.
From 8.30am they will attempt to cycle 157 miles – the distance between all twelve of their branches – and will also be selling raffle tickets for prizes including a Debenhams’ beauty pack and a voucher for The Entertainer.
Shoppers can help them hit their target of £500 by donating money on the day, with some of the proceeds also going to St Richard’s Hospice.
