One of Redditch’s newest fashion retailers welcomed MP Karen Lumley to their store to help them celebrate their first birthday this week.
PEP&CO, which offers low price ladies’, men’s and kids’ fashion, welcomed Mrs Lumley to their store in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre to celebrate one year since their opening.
The PEP&CO in Redditch was one of 50 stores that opened across the UK last summer and store manager, Helen Parker said: “It was tremendous to welcome Karen into our store this week to show her what we’ve achieved since opening 12 months ago.
“We’ve had a really strong first year in Redditch and we thank our customers for their support.”
PEP&CO managing director, Adrian Mountford, added: “We’re pleased to say that the Redditch store is doing exceptionally well and has helped play a big role in helping us serve over three million customers across the UK since launching last summer.
“We are now more convinced than ever that with the right offer, we can play a small role in helping support high streets like Redditch so they can thrive.”
PEP&CO intends to open 10-15 additional stores later this year in similar high street locations, away from larger cities.
