Redditch firm needs your vote

Redditch Editorial 1st Aug, 2014 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

A FAMILY run Redditch firm is appealing to the public to help vote it to success.

Tyre Bay Direct has been nominated in the prestigious National Tyre Distribution Association awards in the category of aftermarket supplier of the year.

The NTDA is made up of the largest and most recognised tyre retailers in the UK and being nominated makes the Park Farm North company one of the top five suppliers in the country.

The business was started in the 1990s by Roger Stote and originally specialised in nitrogen tyre inflation for Forumla 1 before moving into the general tyre industry, supplying various pieces of equipment for fast fit centres and garages.

The company now needs the support of businesses and residents to secure the title. Votes can be cast online at www.ntda.co.uk/2014-taff-awards-online-voting-form/ until September 19. The winners will be announced in October.

Leigh Stote, shareholder and sales and marketing director, said: “Our team has grown and grown in recent years and most of our staff are from Redditch or the immediate surrounding area, which is great as we have used only local, talented people to achieve our success.”
