SPORTS clubs in Redditch can get a handle on their finances with help from experts at the next Bromsgrove and Redditch Sports Club Forum.

The Sports Club Forums are an annual series of free forums organised by Bromsgrove District and Redditch Borough Councils’ Sports Development team and offer a variety of information, help and advice for local clubs.

The forums provide a vital platform for local sports clubs to discuss their needs and identify areas where they may require support, such as funding and marketing.

Forum members will receive information and updates on local and national developments, new initiatives, campaigns and schemes that are available.

There will also be expert presentations and workshops, advice and support on key topics and challenges facing sports clubs, a chance to meet local council officers and organisations, and the opportunity to talk to other clubs and share best practice and professional experience.

Christopher Wells, club and coach development officer, said: “The forums are a great way to keep the sporting spirit alive within the local community as well as providing clubs the opportunity to network and learn valuable hints and tips. Please get in touch if you think your club could benefit.”

The next Sports Club Forum, which will focus on understanding club finances, will be held on September 13 from 6.30pm until 8.30pm at Redditch Town Hall.
