THREE big-hearted young men have raised £1,500 for Cancer Research UK – by riding from Evesham to Penzance.
The trio of pals, Tom Hurford, aged 19 from Studley, Addie Hancock, 25, from Sedgeberrow and Cam Gavin, 20 and from Cleeve Prior, took up the challenge when Cam’s Aunt Kerry was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy.
Tom’s delighted grandfather Ken said: “It’s wonderful to report that the lads completed their task within three days and safely arrived in Penzance. Wonderful also to confirm that their target for Cancer Research UK of £1,500 has been met – and is still building!”
