Redditch residents and visitors are invited to step back in time and find out what the Romans did for us in an event at Forge Mill next weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday (August 6 & 7) visitors can learn about ancient Britons from Iron Age history and combat to everyday Roman life and even see fully armoured Romans in their camp.

Tickets cost £2 for adults and £1 for children, including free entry into the museum.

The museum in Redditch is also offering Condensed Histories shows throughout the summer, which use juggling, unicycling and other circus style variety skills to perform shows about Gladiators of Ancient Rome, Warrior Queen Boudicca and the Spartans.

These shows are free in the grounds of the museum on August 5, 8, 15 and 22, with performances 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm.
