IT’S Redditch Repair Cafe tomorrow, Saturday (July 16) and a team of volunteers will be ready and waiting to restore to life whatever’s broken.
So far the cafe has had an 82 per cent success rate in repairing everything from bicycles and computers to clocks, radios, sewing machines and jewellery. They’ve even turned up trousers and fitted zips! It’s free too, although donations are welcome.
They also sharpen tools and rescue data by backing up faulty computers and hard discs.
Socially it’s been a huge success too with tea and cake served throughout its 10am to 2pm opening times.
The Repair Cafe is at the Old Needle Works, Britten Street, off Bromsgrove Road, two minutes from the bus station.
