A BUILDING site manager from Redditch is celebrating after winning a prestigious national house-building award.

Alex Hemmings, who works at Taylor Wimpey’s Lucet Meadow development, beat off stiff competition from around 15,000 entries to be honoured with a National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award.

Pride in the Job Quality Awards are presented following a stringent judging process by NHBC inspectors who perform spot checks and continuous assessment of developments throughout the year.

The award recognised Alex’s dedication to building high-quality homes for new homebuyers and provides purchasers with the assurance that the development provides top-quality properties and excellent customer service.

It is not the first time Alex has been in the awards spotlight – he earned NHBC Quality Awards for his sterling work at Lucet Meadow in 2013 and 2014, as well as the NHBC’s Seal of Excellence in 2013.

Roger Northam, managing director of Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “I’d like to congratulate Alex for winning another Quality Award – his success is thoroughly deserved.”

Lucet Meadow in Greenlands features a range of stylish new homes including two and three-bedroom properties from £151,995 and four-bedroom designs from £261,995.
