PUPILS donned their pyjamas for a relaxed reading session.
Children from Walkwood Middle School celebrated the end of a two-week readathon by settling down with a good book and a comfy pillow.
All pupils and staff took part in last Thursday’s event (October 23) which also saw them play educational games such as charades using famous book titles.
Last year pupils managed to read more than 23 million words between them.
As part of the scheme a top girl and boy, who have completed more than ten hours of reading, also be presented with a bag of bookworm sweets.
