AN EVENING of music by renowned organist Keith Hearnshaw takes place in Henley-in-Arden next month and promises to be a memorable occasion.
The concert is being organised by parishioners of St John’s Church and takes place on June 11 at 7.30pm.
The event is also a chance to raise money for the church and to honour Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday.
Keith is one of the UK’s top organists and has prepared a diverse range of different tunes from composers like Bach and Mozart to movie scores from Titanic and Saving Private Ryan.
Large images relevant to the music will be projected onto a large screen, adding another element to the performance.
A spokesman for St John’s Church said: “We are delighted that Keith has agreed to perform in Henley, he really does bring the organ to life with his unique style of playing, it promises to be a wonderful evening.”
Tickets cost £10 including refreshments and are available by calling 01564 794010 .
