Residents at Redditch's Terry Springs Court set to record CD

IN TUNE residents at Terry Springs Court are taking their collective singing one step further by cutting their first CD.

Under the guidance of community music experts Pop UK and manager Zoe Hopkins the senior citizens at the Smallwood Street home have been working their renditions of the songs of yesteryear and forces favourites.

And it’s hoped that with the help of sponsors the venture, which is recognised as being of enormous benefit to residents, will be a success.

“We are asking local companies, family members and friends to donate a minimum of £25 so that we can do the recording,” said Zoe.

The residents have been busy rehearsing as well as working in the studio and put on a concert last Friday, (April 22) to showcase their efforts.

“It’s brought all the residents together, and singing makes you feel good too, promotes health and well being and they have absolutely loved it,” added Zoe.
