MIDLANDS-based company, Severn Trent, has tripled its intake of apprentices this year, recruiting the largest number of new recruits the company has taken on to date.
The water company, which saw more than 800 people apply for its apprenticeship scheme, has recruited 80 brand new apprentices, who are all eager to make a splash in the water industry. The new apprentices will placed across the whole business, in various engineering, customer relations and digital roles.
Amy Barber, new talent and development manager at Severn Trent, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have 80 brand new apprentices on board. We took 28 last year so to fill an additional 52 places is great news.
