SCOUT siblings chosen to attend a prestigious event in Japan next year have been busy fund-raising.
Since being picked for the 23rd World Scout Jamboree, James and Ellie Fordham from Alcester have completed a sponsored walk, run a cake sale, entered the town’s Pram Race and taken part in the Alcester Street Market and Family Fun Day.
The pair need to raise £3,045 each to go along to the event, which will be attended by only 36 Scouts from Warwickshire.
Their next activity will see them asking shoppers in Stratford’s Maybird Centre to guess how many balloons there are in a Honda from Listers tomorrow (Saturday). The winner gets to drive the car for a week.
