Staff join in Wear it Beat It campaign

CARE staff put the ‘red’ in Redditch to support a national charity.

Kare Plus Worcestershire added splashes of the colour to their usual blue work wear to mark Wear It Beat It day for the British Heart Foundation.

Registered care manager Kim Hutchins said: “Working in care, we see all too often the devastating impacts of heart disease and so we were keen to support this year’s Wear It Beat It campaign by organising our own wear red to work day.

“For our office staff, it was simply a case of wearing something red and making a donation, but for our carers, it wasn’t so straight-forward. Rather than swapping their pale blue uniforms for something red, they were free to ‘accessorise’ instead, adding a red item or two to their usual work wear.”
