Studley florist rides through the night for charity

A BIG-HEARTED Studley florist will be taking part in a women-only bike ride along through the night with 4,000 others in aid of charity on Saturday, May 28.

Pam Taylor-Hughes, along with her team The Gerbera Girls, will be pedaling their two-wheelers for the Women V Cancer Ride the Night wearing pink tutus and flower decorated helmets through the streets of London.

The florist said her bike will be ‘illuminated by fairy lights’ as she starts the 100km (62 miles) ride at Royal Windsor Racecourse in the capital.

Having seen an advertisement for the race in the back of a magazine and previously doing activities for charity, she decided to take up the challenge.




“The only concern I have with riding so late is that I should be in bed,” Pam said.

“It will be such a good atmosphere cycling through London at night though.”
