STREET theatre entertainment comes to Redditch next week with an exciting programme for the school holidays.
The borough council will be putting on its annual programme of events between 11am and 3pm starting in the town centre on Tuesday (July 28) with Meet the Dinosaur and Bruce Airhead, followed by Bruce Airhead and Steve Kaos in Winyates on July 31.
The programme will be finished with a big show on August 4 in Batchley with Desert Island Discs and Bob’s Magic Show, Plate Spinning and Balloons – and The Whale will also be attending this event to swallow up young sailors!
All the events will feature children’s activities, face painting and a bouncy castle with the addition of pony rides at Batchley.
Val Wilson, Arts and Events Officer, said: “If you’re looking for a fun day out to keep the youngsters entertained during the summer holidays, our street theatre is just the thing.”
