THE medals keep pouring in for a local brewery which scooped five beer awards at the 2016 International Beer Challenge.
‘Team PB’ (Purity Brewing) at Morton Bagot are celebrating after five different beers each took home a medal, including their special 10th anniversary beer, X, which took gold as ‘Best Wood Aged Beer’.
Pure Gold won a bronze in the ‘British Style Golden Ale category’, and Longhorn India pale ale, Saddle Black and Mad Goose also received medals in their respective categories of ‘New World Style (IPA)’, ‘Black (IPA)’ and ‘Pale Ale’.
John Conond from Purity said: “I think people are looking for something that little bit special, and limited edition beers like X really tick that box.”
