Ten years of Redditch Boomerang

Redditch Editorial 1st May, 2016 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

REDDITCH charity Boomerang celebrated ten years in business recently in typically big-hearted way.

The Hewell Road firm specialises in passing on quality furniture, goods and appliances for knockdown prices to Redditch’s hard-up families.

On the Boomerang books at the moment are a selection of three piece suites, chests of drawers and wardrobes and a wealth of electrical goods and appliances.

“We get most of our things from house clearances and just need to cover our costs so we sell it on really cheap,” said manager Pauline Thorne.

“Over the years we’ve just about managed to keep our heads above water but we could always do with more volunteers and more buyers.”

Boomerang is easy to find and more details are available from Pauline on 68250.
