DUMMIES were ditched during a special guest appearance at Matchborough First School.
The Dummy Elf visited on Tuesday (November 18) to encourage pre-school children to give up the habit.
The scheme run by Worcestershire Speech and Language Therapy Service aims to raise awareness of the impact dummies have on early speech and language development.
A spokeswoman said: “Luckily a few children parted with their dummies by posting them into the Dummy Elf’s special magic post box. In return the children each received a prize and a thank you certificate.”
