THE Studley Arts Trail and exhibition at the Artists Workhouse has proved such a success plans are already being laid for next year’s event.
At the latest meeting of the Business in Studley group members agreed the exercise had huge potential for the future.
“The feedback we’ve had from people doing the Arts Trail and discovering businesses and parts of Studley they didn’t know existed has been tremendous,” said Dawn Harris, director of the Artists Workhouse.
The fortnight-long event featured 13 artists exhibiting their work with businesses around Studley, anchored by 16 more artists at the Redditch Road Workhouse backed by a pop-up cafe, all part of the annual Warwickshire Open Studios showcase.
The news comes as the Workhouse prepares for its final exhibition of the season – ‘Lacrimarum’ featuring the work of four talented artists which starts tomorrow, Saturday (July 16) and runs for nine days.
The Artists Workhouse is open from 11am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. All welcome.
