TO celebrate World Book Night Redditch Library is inviting residents to a ‘book and brew’ this Saturday, April 23.
Staff will be giving away free World Book Night books at 11am and refreshments will be available.
World Book Night is an annual celebration of reading and books.
It is run by The Reading Agency, a national charity that inspires people to become confident and enthusiastic readers to help give them an equal chance in life.
The library is also encouraging customers to bring along any books they would like to swop with other readers.
They can also contribute books suggestion to the library’s World Book Night display.
Titles to be given away include ‘A Baby at the Beach Café’ by Lucy Diamond and ‘The Rotter’s Club’ by Jonathan Coe.
The book and brew will commence after the library’s regular Children’s Storytime which starts at 10.30am.
