Turn over a new page with Book Start

THE wonderful world of books was brought to life by staff from Redditch libraries on Saturday when they took part in the town centre’s festive parade.

Redditch Library’s Book Start Bear was on hand to meet Father Christmas when they both took part in the big parade.

“It was so good to see so many children who visit Redditch and Woodrow Libraries. Please remind everyone that the library is a great place to catch your breath in the middle of Christmas shopping … and you can pick up a free book at the same time,” said Book Start Bear.

Not only that, but if you fancy a sing along and story you can join the team every Wednesday at Redditch Library at 9.30am and 10.30am, or Thursday at Woodrow at 10.30am. For babies, there’s Bounce and Rhyme on Mondays at Redditch at 10am. It’s free to join.
