A VINTAGE themed day helped pupils, staff and parents at Oak Hill celebrate their Ofsted success.
The first school’s Dig For Victory tea event saw year four students going back to the 1940s, dressing up and issuing ration book menus.
Over 400 parents and carers visited throughout the day, which coincided with the school being informed of them receiving an improved ‘good’ grade following their recent inspection.
Headteacher Lynn Kelly said: “We’re delighted with the highly complimentary report.
“Staff and pupils have worked incredibly hard and deserve this level of recognition.”
