THE NOMINATIONS are in and now Standard readers have the chance to decide which community group should win £500.
The Standard teamed up with Taylor Wimpey to offer a Redditch organisation the prize as part of the company’s Community Chest awards and a total of eight groups have been shortlisted. Now readers have the opportunity to decide which of them is deserving of the award.
Anne Wallace, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “We are delighted to see so many worthy causes nominated by readers of the Redditch Standard for the community chest.
“Each and every organisation on the list does great work within the local community and it’s now down to the readers to decide which will receive the £500 cash award.”
