Witness appeal following Redditch assault

REDDITCH police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted and knocked unconscious in Lloyds Bar on Unicorn Hill in the early hours of Sunday morning (April 9).

The incident happened at around 1am where the victim, a man in his late 20s, was knocked unconscious before being further assaulted by a group of three to four men.

The offenders, thought to be in their 20s, may have run off in the direction of Fever nightclub.

Following the assault the victim was taken to the Alexandra Hospital with severe bruises and swelling to his face.




Police are eager to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it and ask anyone with information to call 101, quoting incident number 45s of April 10.
