A BURGLAR threatened an elderly woman while another ransacked her home in Batchley.

The two men entered her house on the Batchley Road about 1pm last Wednesday (July 2) and stole an unknown amount of gold and money.

They were described as being about 25, medium build and between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 10ins, and both were wearing white shorts and one had a white top.

A member of the public reported seeing three men, two of which were wearing suits, running from Pulman Close towards Batchley Road.

One of the men was described as chubby with a bald head and was wearing a blue shirt.

A house on Plymouth Road was also burgled between 9.20am and 12pm the same day.

The home owners had been out at the time and it is believed thieves forced entry through the back door and took jewellery and money.

Anyone with any information should call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 372S or

Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
