A LEADING Worcestershire domestic abuse charity has appointed its first fund-raiser.
Elizabeth Morawiecka has joined West Merica Women’s Aid which works with domestic abuse victims across the county along with those in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin.
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Elizabeth to our team,” said Jan Frances, chief executive of the charity. “West Mercia Women’s Aid saves and transforms lives and in the light of significant funding cuts, we took the decision to recruit our own in house fund-raiser.”
The charity hopes Elizabeth’s work will develop a more diverse funding base, to help ensure its vital work continues.
