THE SWEET sound of success resonated around Matchborough First School Academy when parents came in to hear their young musicians.
Children in Year 3 have been learning to play either the violin or cello over the last 15 weeks and have shown off their new skills during a performance featuring all 61 of them.
Headteacher Jackie Harris said: “We were really pleased with how well the children had taken to the instruments and how they performed at their first public music concert it was a real success.”
