BIRCHENSALE Middle School youngsters paced their way to success with all four teams winning medals at the Worcestershire Youth Games.
Representing Redditch after winning the Redditch District title, the 42 pupils in four teams showed commitment and enthusiasm in the county games at the University of Worcester.
Year 5 and 6 boys took the gold medal and there were silver medals for Year 5 and 6 girls, as well as the Year 8 boys team. The Year 7 girls team came third.
“I am extremely proud of all of the pupils that took part, they trained hard and it is good to see their commitment and hard work has paid off,” said Paul Homer, sports co-ordinator for Birchensale.
“We had more pupils than any other school at the Youth Games and every one came away with a medal, a brilliant result.”
