  • Businesswoman is 'Switched On'

    Tristan Harris

    20 November 2008

A NORTH Worcestershire businesswoman has won a prestigious accolade at the 2008 Switched On Awards.
Linda Farren, LF Media Ltd's managing director, was named this year's Woman in Business.
Linda, who came runner-up in the Brite Spark category last year, said she was amazed at how much she had achieved in the last three-and-a-half years and added it had topped an amazing 12 months for both the agency and for her personally.
"Over the past year, the company has expanded beyond my wildest dreams - we’ve moved into our own purpose-built suite of offices and this award is a testament to all the hard work and the high esteem that LF Media is held in by the business community," she said.
The award was presented during a ceremony held at Birmingham's Motorcycle Museum last Friday (June 6).
