    20 November 2008

A LEADING hair and beauty specialists in Redditch is adding celebrity-style treatments to its services.
Legends Hair and Beauty, based on Evesham Road, has joined forces with Inkberrow business AcuKare to offer a selection of star treatments.
Facial aesthetic specialist Karen Wade, director of AcuKare, will now be working from the salon once a week, providing a range of cosmetic procedures to help clients treat premature ageing as well as common and rare skin problems.
These exclusive and specialist treatments include chemical peels, dermal fillers, muscle relaxants and botox.
Karen has over 30-years experience as a registered nurse and three-years as a professional facial aesthetic specialist, after completing her training in Harley Street, London.
It is the second major new service to be added to the salon this year as part of its 20th anniversary expansion plan, which is set to see the introduction of brand new services, treatments and products throughout 2008.
Geraldine Alekna, owner and manager of Legends, said: "It is an extremely exciting time for our salon as we welcome a wide range of new specialist services to our business to help our clients treat and enhance cosmetic problem areas.
“We want to offer our clients extended services and procedures which may not have been available to them before – so they don’t feel they have to travel to receive professional cosmetic procedures.
“I am really pleased to welcome Karen and her professional experience and skills to our salon and clients.”
Legends welcomed its new £30,000 investment, the Ellipse SuperLight earlier this year – offering clients specialist treatments and services for facial thread veins, acne problems, permanent hair reduction and wrinkle reduction.
Karen added: "I am looking forward to working with Legends and their clients as they successfully celebrate over 20-years in the industry as one of the leading hair and beauty salons."
More information on the salon and its services can be found at www.legendshairandbeauty.co.uk.
