Alcester Town make plea for more sponsors

FOOTBALL: ALCESTER Town are encouraging business to get behind their efforts to develop a club to climb the non-League pyramid.

Town finished the season in an excellent fifth place in Midland Division Three and want to build on their progress, on and off the pitch.

They are appealing to businesses and backers to join and help the club and the community.

As well as the first team, Alcester run a large number of mini, junior and adult sides ranging from under-sevens through to our four senior sides and are proud to hold the status of FA Charter Standard Community Club.

Manager James Robbins said: “We are entering an exciting new period here at Alcester Town Football Club. We have made progress both on and off the pitch during the 2015/16 season and would like to offer local businesses an opportunity to share in our experience as a progressive club whilst benefiting the whole community.

“The first team currently play in the Midland Football League Division Three, finishing fifth last season and have major ambitions to climb the non league pyramid over the next few years whilst giving local players the platform to play football at a good standard.

“We rely upon support and sponsorship off local businesses and if anyone could help us in any way, than please get in touch.”

The club has a variety of sponsoring packages, including sponsoring the first team kit, and pitchside advertising boards.
