THERE was cup joy for numerous Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination sides on Sunday as three teams progressed into the final of their respective competitions and another into the last four.

In league action, there was a thriller in Division One as VKL and visitors Coldstream drew 3-3. Sam Osmond, Ste Spencer and Dan Hill scored for VKL and Jake Booton (2) and Jamie Larner netted for Coldstream.

Millfield Rovers have secured themselves a place in the final of the Hunt Crane Cup after beating Royal Oak 7-0 thanks to four goals from Neil Dews and a hat-trick from Dave Cummings.

Red Lion booked their place in the final of the Studley Charity Cup against Beoley Village with an exciting 5-4 extra time victory over Winyates.




Two goals apiece from Dan Bearcroft and Kingsley Smith and one from Jord Harrison saw them through after the match had been level at 3-3 after 90 minutes.

The scorers for Winyates were Ben Rogers, Ben Squibb, Dave Phelan and Rob Stewart.


Austin Ex-Apprentices moved into the semi-finals of the BCFA Roger Wood Memorial Cup after beating Lamp Albion from the Warley & District Sunday League 5-0.

The prolific Andy Nicol bagged a brace for Austin and Westwood, McGrath and Griffin also netted.

Black Horse defeated Grange Athletic from the Kidderminster & District Sunday League 5-4 on penalties after the match had finished 3-3 to book their place in the final of the WFA Sunday Premier Cup.

Brendan Hicks netted a double for Black Horse and Sean Brain was also on target as they sealed their place in the April 3 showpiece.
