FECKENHAM continued their relentless pursuit of the Worcestershire League Division Two promotion places with a six-wicket victory over Wormelow on Saturday.
The Millers’ 20 points from the win were priceless on a day in which top two Redditch Entaco and Chaddesley Corbett also prevailed and means they remain three points behind Chaddesley and 30 adrift of the Kingfishers with four matches remaining.
Saturday brings a visit to Bromyard for Feckenham, whose victory last time out rarely looked in doubt.
Mitchell Douglas and Neil Evans both took three wickets apiece and Matthew Grubb two to restrict the visitors to 149-9 off their 49 overs.
Feckenham’s reply was built around 87 from opener Muhammed Idrees who struck 15 fours and one six in his 87 to steer the hosts to 150-4 in just 21 overs.
