WHITE Hart achieved seven victories from the nine matches played in what was an excellent week for the Redditch club.
One of the many high points was a fine 210-175 home win over Raven in Warwickshire and Worcestershire Premier League Division Five which puts them three points clear of the relegation zone.
Individual winners were Matt Higgins 21-1, Stuart Rice 21-7, Ken Brown 21-8, Ian Humphreys 21-13, Dave Kings 21-13 and Mick Perrins 21-7.
In the Heart of England Friday Over 60s League White Hart B took a step nearer to promotion from Division Three after a nail-biting 102-100 win at Woodlands Park, which looked unlikely after their first four players met with defeat.
Two fine wins from Tom Hawkes 21-4 and Rob Faulks 21-12 then turned the match around in the visitors’ favour.
The A team also gained a narrow 111-102 home win over Ye Olde Knowle A in Division One with winning cards from Mike Estell 21-5, Norman Batchelor 21-14 and Graham Arnott 21-20.
Tuesday was another good day for White Hart with a double win over Harborne team The Green Man in the South & West Birmingham Over 60s League.
The A team had three away winners (Graham Arnott and Mike Estell both 21-12 and Ray Richards 21-18) in a 112-105 victory in Division One, while the B team made promotion from Division Four a virtual certainty after a very easy 121-52 win, having four winners (Anne Batchelor 21-12, Tom Hawkes 21-4, Brian Chatterley 21-6 and Sheila Humphreys 21-9, plus a walkover).
In the Sunday Northfield & District League White Hart A were impressive home winners over Woodbourne Sports A as they had a full house of winning cards (Tim Hollingshead 21-3, Tony Sugden 21-9, Ray Richards 21-13, Matt Higgins 21-18, Ian Humphreys 21-19, Paul Matthews 21-16 Mike Estell 21-17 and captain Mick Perrins 21-17).

They had winning cards from Kirk Wright and Neil Laxton (both 21-12), Tim Hollingshead 21-15 and captain Gill Croft 21-7.
Thursday proved to be the only bad day for the Redditch club as both teams met with defeat in the Heart of England League.
The A team were narrowly beaten 152-141 at Moseley CC A in Division Two, despite having four winners (Paul Matthews 21-14, Ray Richards 21-19, Mick Perrins 21-19 and Stephen Turner 21-16), while the B team lost 141-130 at home to Henley A as their four winning cards came from Tony Sugden 21-10, Anne Batchelor 21-18, Dave Kings 21-13 and captain Norman Batchelor 21-16.
