THE POPULAR K-Star Wrestling (KSW) show returns to Redditch later this month at the new venue of the HDA Mettis Aerospace Club.
KSW have sold out previous shows in Redditch and are hoping the new venue will be no different as the event on Friday, November 28 promises to be a massive hit with local families.
The main event of the show and KSW British Championship will feature ‘Show Time’ Taylor Adams (aka Robert Higginson of Headless Cross) challenging 16-year pro ‘The Superstar’ Carlos for the title.
Higginson is looking forward to his first main event in his home town and said: “I’ve been working for this huge opportunity all my career and I plan on winning the British title in my home town. It will be a show to remember.”
The UK’s ‘Premier High Flyer’ Kid Flash (aka Mitchell Grubb of Lodge Park) will be facing off against ‘The Inmate’ Damien Black (aka Luke Sanders of Smallwood).
Grubb is only 18 years of age but has said he is ready to defeat The Inmate. It will certainly be a tough match for the youngster but he hopes the support of his friends and family will help him overcome the odds.
KSW was founded 16 years ago this past October by former World of Sport wrestler Steve Logan who was on ITV’s World of Sport many times, teaming up with Big Daddy.
He also travelled to Canada where he trained at the Hart Dungeon with Stu Hart. Logan wrestled with and alongside Bret Hitman Hart, British Bulldog and Fit Finley amongst others.
Also in action will be KSW regulars including 6ft 6in Australian ‘Monster Franco’, the ‘Undead Demon Rigour Mortis’, ‘The Vampire Warrior’ Sebastian Knight and many more colourful characters.
Tickets for the Batchley show cost £5 and are available on the door on the night or from the venue beforehand. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.45pm.
