STUDLEY secured a third successive Warwickshire League Division One victory as they saw off visitors Pak Shaheen by seven wickets on Saturday to move into fifth place.
The Washford Fields side are now just ten points behind leaders Coleshill heading into Saturday’s visit to bottom placed Solihull Blossomfield.
Pak Shaheen won the toss and chose to bat but things did not go to plan for the visitors as Andy Rhodes (4-23) demolished the top order and fellow opening bowler Stuart Harris (3-18) also enjoyed himself.
Josh Gandy chipped in with a couple of wickets and captain Steve Rose got rid of top-scoring counterpart Sultan Mahmood (24) as Pak Shaheen could only muster 78 all out inside 36 overs.
Studley, who collected 20 points, lost three wickets in their pursuit of victory but the outcome was never in doubt as Rose (17no) led them home to 82-3 in the 31st over, helped by a total of 26 extras.
