A SENIOR athletics coach from Birchfield Harriers visited Birchensale Middle School to work alongside some of the more able athletes from Key Stages 2 and 3 (aged 11 to 13).
Keith Holt, who is also an England cross-country team manager, gave the athletes a motivational talk and put them through their paces with some co-ordination and athletics warm-up drills.
The children responded well to his style of coaching and gained some valuable tips and advice from him.
