INKBERROW Eagles Girls players were treated to a visit from Aston Villa Ladies star Hannah George as part of FA Girls’ Football Week.
Hannah took part in a question and answer session, penalty shoot-out and then a game.
The Eagles girls did not miss out on any selfie opportunities and autographs with Hannah, who has also played for Women’s Super League top flight outfit Birmingham City Ladies.
Last year was a landmark one for women’s football and there is no doubt that big occasions such as the SSE Women’s FA Cup Final which is now played at Wembley and the Lionesses’ achievements in finishing third at the 2015 World Cup have had a big impact on inspiring more girls to play.
Football is the largest female team sport in England with more than 2.89 million players and Inkberrow Eagles offers football for girls in a fun and safe environment. Contact team manager Mark Wilkinson on 07795 259723 for details.
