Wrestling fans set for exciting action

THE POPULAR K-STAR WRESTLING show returns to Redditch this month at the HDA Mettis Aerospace Club.

The event has been a sell-out in previous years in the town and organisers are hoping this one on Saturday, June 18 will be no different as it promises to be a massive hit with families who will be treated to a very special match.

The ‘UK’s Premier High Flyer’ Kid Flash, aka Mitchell Grubb of Lodge Park, will be facing off against The Demon Rigor Mortis in a casket match in which wrestlers have to stuff their opponent into a coffin and slam the lid shut to win.

This is a match made famous by WWE superstar The Undertaker and is a very popular match for wrestling fans.

Grubb is only 19 years of age but said he is ready to defeat his much older and more experienced opponent as he bids to prevail in his home town.

Also in action will be 6ft 6in Big Bad Brawler Daz Donaghan and KSW British champion The Tank, along with many more colourful characters.

Tickets for the event at the Batchley club cost £5 and are available on the door on the night or from the venue beforehand. Call the hotline on 07974 658170. Doors open at 7pm and wrestling begins at 7.45pm.
