AS THE Redditch United Junior, Youth and Development section continues to expand, the club are currently looking for volunteers to help with some of the teams as either team managers or coaches.

If you think you have what it takes and would love to play a big part in the development of children’s football in the community, please contact Julian Workman on 07714 460273 for more information.

On Saturday, August 8 at 11.30am the new U11s girls’ team will be holding an open training session on Terry’s Field behind Redditch United FC.

The team has been placed in the Mercian Football League and matches are played on Saturday mornings. If you know of any girls that are interested and will be going into year five or six in September and are born between these dates – 01/09/04 to 31/08/06 – then please bring them along.

For further information contact team manager Mark Williams on 07939 872458. All interested players should attend wearing shinpads and appropriate footwear and bring a drink.

The U9 girls are also looking for players. They will be playing in the Mercian Football League and play matches on Saturday mornings. If you know of any player that is interested and will be going into year three or four in September and their birthday falls within these dates – 01/09/06 to 31/08/08 – please get in touch.
