A REDDITCH pub has been named as the best in Worcestershire and will now compete to win a top national award.
The Hart at Headless Cross re-opened its doors in October 2022 under new management following a £400,000 investment and has been welcoming guests every day to a wide range of wines and spirits, great beers, specially created cocktails and coffees.
As well as the impressive drinks menu, the team has created a menu of delicious, fresh dishes cooked from scratch and served for brunch, lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch to be enjoyed in the cosy pub or its beautiful heated courtyard.
The Pub and Bar Awards, which aim to showcase the UK’s finest pubs and bars on a national scale, have crowned The Hart as one of the best venues in their first year of trading.
The family and dog-friendly pub will now compete with 93 pubs across the UK to win the overall National Pub and Bar accolade.
Victoria Coliandris, operations director at The Hart at Headless Cross, said: “We are delighted with our award and dedicate it entirely to the hard work and commitment of our fantastic team.
“We really enjoy being a big part of the Headless Cross and Redditch communities and thank all of our guests for supporting our independent pub.”
The final awards ceremony will take place in London on June 28 where the county winners will discover which pubs will be taking home a regional title, as well as which site is to be named the UK’s best.
