Joined by residents from Great Alne Park retirement village, Claire Blading CBE was treated to a a four-mile journey through Great Alne Park among the picturesque grounds and surrounding villages.
The walkers soon got chatting about their lives and what it was like living in a retirement village.
Great Alne Park was chosen due to its incredible parkland surroundings and interesting later living concept that places a huge focus on resident wellbeing.
Inspired Villages’ people and culture director, Lawrence Cramer, who also joined the walk, said: “The residents thoroughly enjoyed showing Claire around their neck of the woods and some of the magnificent Warwickshire countryside that surrounds the village.
“It was a great opportunity to show off the village, its location and facilities, but most of all the community spirit the village embodies.
“At Inspired Villages, our ethos is centred around improving residents’ holistic wellbeing and helping them to live better for longer.”
