ALL THE pictures have now been taken for this year’s Redditch Standard Baby of the Year competition.
A staggering 250 people took their children to the Kingfisher Shopping Centre between April 17 and 30 where their picture was taken by professional portrait photographer Andrea Powell.
And parents and guardians have been heading back to choose that all important photograph they want entered into the contest.
The youngest entrant this year was just five days old before they went before the camera.
As usual there are two categories, 0 to 18 months old and 19 months to three years.
Prizes will be awarded for winners and runners up – a 20”x16” canvas print and Jellycat toy for first place and a 12”x10” canvas and Jellycat toy for the runner up.
Andrea is also offering a selection of the prints to buy for as little as £12 – but you are under no obligation whatsoever to do so.
Judging is set to get under way in the coming weeks via the redditchstandard.co.uk website – please note no child’s name will appear, only a number next to their photograph.
The ten babies with the most votes in each age group will go through to the final, plus ten more selected by our panel of judges.
Employees of Bullivant Media Ltd and their families are not eligible to enter.
