A REDDITCH cricket club is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year.
Redditch Entaco Cricket Club is focused on providing accessible cricket to the wider community, running four competitive sides each Saturday, as well as a successful junior academy with over 100 members to support and nurture young talent.
To celebrate, Community ISP Lit Fibre has partnered with the Club for the 2023 season as the company strides forward in its commitment to supporting the town.
Sarah Morgans, Lit Fibre’s community manager for Redditch said: “Community matters to us, so we are excited to begin our partnership with Redditch Entaco Cricket Club and support their mission to promote cricket and foster talent in the community.
“We are proud to be associated with this fantastic club and to contribute to its growth and success.
“We look forward to seeing our logo on the shirts of the players and to work with the club on exciting new projects in the future.”
Chairman of Redditch Entaco Cricket Club, Liam Phelan, added: “We are delighted to have Lit Fibre on board as our sponsor for the upcoming season during our 175th anniversary year.
“It is great to see how Lit Fibre’s full-fibre services can futureproof Redditch and the surrounding areas by improving connectivity and we are hugely grateful for their support with the club.”
Lit Fibre’s full-fibre broadband service is already available in Redditch.
